The National Musuem of the Royal Navy, Portsmouth is hosting an event which may be of interest to members of the Fareham and Portchester Camera Club.
Saturday 8 October, 2.30pm
‘Capturing the Moment: Naval photographs’

In an age of digital photographs and mobile phone cameras take a look back at how things were done in the past and enjoy the opportunity to see images from the collection never displayed before. From Daguerreotypes to colour prints, the NMRN photograph collection spans 160 years of naval history.

Having secured a job in London which means I can live at home in Portsmouth, I cannot remain a member of Rolls-Royce Derby Photographic Society so I am looking for a club to join. If you are open to new members I would like to find out how to apply and to take part in club competitions. I can provide both prints and dpi.
Please let me know if your competitions are themed or open category so that I can start working on something asap.

Hi Tony, I have contacted our secretary & she has suggested that you could come along to one of our club evenings to see if our club is what you are looking for. If you look under the tab FPCC Contacts you will see our phone numbers if you want to contact either Val or myself for more details. The Club Programme tab gives full details of the current programme. Most of our competitions are open, but in March we have a set subject which this year is After Dark for DPIs & Derelict/Abandoned for prints. I look forward to hearing from you.
